Drinking-thinking is different from sober-thinking. and your drinking-thinking is likely going to OBJECT to ideas suggested that come from sober-thinking. You have to be open enough to try the new things, even when your head disagrees.

I heard that drinking thinking keeps us drinking and avoiding listening to sober advice.
I heard that it takes bravery, trust, strength to believe the sober advice and entertain the notion that drinking thinking is lying.
I think part of the leap of faith is part timing and part finding a little ounce of a tool that resonates with someone (eg emailing daily or listening to audios) (at least for me).
