Audio: How to Have Better Boundaries

New podcast for my weekly sober podcast series. You’re familiar with the one-minute audios. These are longer, meatier.

This one talks about setting boundaries. Turns out, we care so much that other people like us, that we don’t care if we like ourselves…

Don’t feel bad. As a group, we suck at having good boundaries. The full audio talks about fences, gardens, and letting people walk around in your garden. (PS. Do you have a fence around your garden? do you enforce it or do you find people walking around in there, asking fore more stuff?)

The full audio recording for this episode is 13 minutes long. Here’s a 1 minute preview. This is a stand-alone part.

I want to put this online, to hold myself accountable. I want to document the noise in my head. I'm tired of thinking about drinking. date of last drink: june 30, 2012

  • Agree. Boundaries (fences), rather than brick walls. Wolfie wants the brick wall to make us feel lonely, isolated and that our only friend is Wolfie.

  • this was a great audio to listen to. It seems the Universe was conspiring to get me to know about boundaries because this very topic came up on another podcast I listen to . Definitely going to take heed on this one because I suck at setting boundaries!! thank you for this reminder.
