This is Sober Podcast Episode #119 sent to monthly sober podcast subscribers last week.
This is a longer audio, which involves a fair amount of me ranting (an unusual event). I say things “I Call Bullshit” and “Not Possible.” This is the first time this has happened (ranting on a podcast, I mean). It’s either motivating or scary. Not sure.
The audio was running long, so I split it into two parts. If you missed Part 1, you can get it here. Part 2 is below.
Comments from the chat:
Taylor: “Love the ranting, it helps me remember to stay passionate about getting sober and not get complacent. Keep it up.”
GloMix: “We all rant in our heads about booze, so it’s great to hear it coming from you. It’s positive to get it out there.”
redhookgal: “The ranting puts my shit in perspective. thanks!”
Here’s an extract from part 2. It’s about 2 minutes long. I am ranting. I don’t normally do this. But from time to time, it might help.
“Double your money back if you hate being sober “- love it. So true!
I Have NEVER Had a regret on Sunday morning that I didn’t get wasted on Saturday Night yet have regretted Every time I did get wasted.
Seems simple right ?
I’m sticking with the sure-thing,
Sobriety and no regrets
thanks to you (now 259 sober days) I finally decided to subscribe to your monthly pod casts. pity that I seem to have missed the full rants but looking forward to new ones.
you are amazing and my lifesaver, your posts and daily emails have helped me so much.
for ever grateful, thanks Belle.
Good rant Belle. Your not really ranting because what you’re saying is true. I define rants as bullshit mostly. Still out here. Thanks for all you do.
