Audio: Bash Wolfie on the Head (part 3)

I have an audio clip to share this afternoon 🙂

A couple of weeks ago I recorded a live call about support and the different ways we can get it. Why we resist. How to identify wolfie. The whole call lasted over an hour, and I’ve been sharing it with weekly podcast subscribers.

And here for you now is a 2.75 minute extract from Part 3 of the group call. I talk about how we read all of the sober books while we’re still drinking, but we don’t implement any of the strategies …

Please leave a comment after you listen to the extract … so that i know you’re out there.

Belle

I want to put this online, to hold myself accountable. I want to document the noise in my head. I'm tired of thinking about drinking. date of last drink: june 30, 2012

  • I agree with Kate above. Wolfie starts early for me. But the accountability of sending the emails is a great way to deter any thoughts of drinking. I too spend / spent about $10 a day. I just put my first $10 in my piggy bank and took a picture of it. Sending it to you now! lol. Day one here I come.

  • Ok, I’m going to email you every time Wolfie is with me…maybe this will be the thing that pushes me over the line! I warn you though Belle, he starts waking up at about 2pm everyday and does NOT shut the F up until about 6.30pm, so that’s a lot of emails 🙂
    Thank you, hugs,
    Kate x

  • Brilliant! And the best part for me is that I just kicked wolfie out of my brain about an hour ago. This just reinforced me. Happy sober Friday.
